"When I first went to Phippin’s Cabinety, I was interested in expanding my kitchen. The existing kitchen was 15 years old and it had the top of the line cabinetry. Basically we wanted to double the size of the kitchen and make it look as if the finished product was built and installed at the same time. This proved a difficult challenge and Mr. Phippin did an outstanding job where it is virtually impossible to tell half the space was an add on. We were so happy with the quality of workmanship we had Mr. Phippin more than double the size of the master bath. Again an outstanding job so we had Phippin’s build a new master closet and then a complete upstairs laundry room. Then another closet area and a new interior of our elevator.

"We began working with Phippin's Cabinetry in the Fall to renovate our kitchen. You never know what you’re really getting into with a contractor and their subs, but early on (before we committed) we had a good gut feeling this would at least not be a bad experience. As it turned out, it was a GREAT experience and here is why:

Boils down to a few things. 1) George and Kim were great at communicating when there were questions, issues, a few surprises; they had fantastic follow through as well; 2) Trust – within a short amount of time we trusted what they said to be true and 3) Quality – we had custom high end cabinets and George is a stickler for getting it 100% right – the first time; 4) Speed - the entire reno took 3+ weeks for everything. They needed to coordinate with the counter-top vendor and the flooring vendor to ensure a smooth delivery and it was just that. Early on they told us it would be done by Christmas and by Dec 24, it was fully completed. George even said that day to me “if something comes up, call me tomorrow (Christmas Day)!” And we entertained on Christmas Day and the day after; we were thrilled with the result, the look, the functionality and it feels like this is our forever kitchen. For this, we have Kim and George to thank! "

"Phippins Cabinetry & Renovations was hired to convert a wire shelf pantry into a butler pantry with wall and base cabinets and room for an under-cabinet beverage center. The cabinetry, moldings, and tiled backsplash were to match the kitchen. The home is only four years old, but the Timberlake cabinet color was no longer available. They built cabinets and stained them to match exactly. The Travertine backsplash matches the kitchen backsplash, and the under-cabinet lighting matches the kitchen too. Quartz was used to complement the granite kitchen countertop because the granite was no longer available. A full glass door now replaces the solid wood door. A crystal chandelier hangs perfectly in the middle. No one will ever know that the butler pantry wasn’t done when the house was built, which is what we wanted. It turned out much better than we had hoped!"
